(Job 1:8-9) This scripture speaks about a man named Job.
An upright man, One who feared God. Job had everything a man could want in this life. Job was put to the test. Was it his love for God, Or his love for things he possessed.
The Devil was trying to prove that Job loved God because of his posessions.God Knew Job’s heart, And was going to prove the Devil wrong. Job was in the middle of a challenge between God and the Devil. It clearly shows that you don’t have to do anything wrong for the Devil to accuse you.
Every child of God goes through a testing period, Where the Devil challenges God, Concerning your love for him. A testing period, consist of a space of time, which allows the Devil time to try and prove God wrong, Concerning your love for him. If you are a true child of God you will stand the test of time and give God the victory.
On the other hand if you are not a true child of God, you will not stand the test, And will get caught up in the posessions of this world, in which the Devil will be right about you.
So many so called christians are caught up in their posessions, until they have lost sight of God.
The Devil has deceived so many people into believeing that you are blessed based upon your possessions, the more possessions you have the more you are blessed.
How far from the truth. The more you get caught up into your possessions, and the things of this world, the further from God you get, which makes you vulnerable, wide open, no power, no anointing, no strength, easy picking for the Devil.
Let us put God first, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
