The scriptures tells us in the book of Proverbs ( 18:21 ), Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. What that scripture is simply saying is watch what you say out of your mouth. Most people are victims of what they speak into their lives. Your mouth is a transmitter and your mind is a receiver. What you say out of your mouth goes into the cosmos, and attracts that very thing you say. Example, a person gets up in the morning from a long night sleep, The first thing he or she says, I feel like I am going to be sick today, or I am going to have one of those bad day’s. Guess what? they put that out there, and the very thing they said was attracted to them. What I am trying to say, if you do not want it in your life, don’t say it. people wonder why things happen to them, or why they are victims of a bad situation. It is because of the things you call, they will come. you call a dog he will come to you. Speak life not death, think positive and you will see the difference in your life.
In the book of Romans (8:28 ), it tells us that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. that means if you love God, and are living according to his will for your life, God will take care of you. I know we live in a mean and wicked world, where bad and wicked things happens, remember who is in control. If you are a child of God, i put emphasis on child of God. Things that happens in your life that seem bad to you, is not always bad. The things Satan uses to try and hurt you, God turns them into blessing for you. You ask a question, apostle what do you mean? i mean you have the luxury of both worlds, the things that are good, and the things that seem bad are good. they all work together for your good. Remember there is a catch, you must love God for this to work.
To reach our true potential we must first realize that we have the power.
The apostle Paul said in ( Philippians 4:13 ), i can do all things through Christ that strengtheneth me. The apostle paul is telling us that we can do all things through Christ that gives us the strength. Whatever it maybe you have the potential and the ability to do it. Remember the key is through Christ you can do it, outside of Christ you can do nothing. If you are faced with a decision, and you are worry whether or not you can do it, know this you can. The unknown is what traps us in going forward and accomplishing our goals. you have the potential the ability just do it. Stop thinking so much, you think long, you think wrong. Remember in Christ.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his son into the world to condemn the world, but the world through him might be saved. If God loves you enough not to condemn you, then you shouldn’t let anyone else condemn you. The scripture says if any one of you are without sin cast the first stone. no one on earth is greater then God, so do not let anyone put down.
You might ask a question, how can i be happy worrying? Simple stop worrying. So many people are suffering from ulcers and problems with their stomachs, from worrying about things they can’t not change. Most of the things we worry about are the things we want, not the things we need. Have you ever seen a gray headed sparrow or ants worrying about where they are going to get their next meal from. Why they don’t worry? because they know that God with supply their needs. Are you less then the ant or the sparrow, do you know that God is watching over you, and he knows what you are in need of. If you would focus on putting your trust in God and not trying to keep up with the Joneses, trying to impress, that is why you are so stress, you will find out that God will always make a way out of no way.
We live in a world of deception and deceit, the truth is not the order of the day. People today would rather hear a lie then the truth. There is a saying, a lie travels on the express and the truth travels local. The scriptures tells us that God hates a liar. Jesus said i am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me. The God of this world is the father of all lies. To live in a fantasy world, trying to to be something that you are not is pure insanity, totally disregarding every ounce of reality. The scriptures say Ye shall know the truth and the truth will set you free. Are you free? or are you bound by lies, living in a fake and make believe world, that is governed by the God of this world the devil. The truth is where God is, a world of reality, real people you can be who you are, you don’t have to live a lie. Seek to know the truth, and most of all be truth to yourself.
God’s way is the only way. The scriptures states in the book of Proverbs ( 3:5-7 ) acknowledge Him ( God ), in all of your ways and He will direct your path. Since the beginning of time, man has tried to operate independently of God, only to fall on his face. The scriptures tell us to acknowledge God in everything we do, and he will show us the way to go and the actions to take. To say in your mind or to say i don’t need God, is the very same thing Satan said when he tried to take over Gods haven. If you want success and Gods blessing’s in your life, ask God to order your steps. On the other hand you can do it yourself and walk into a wall. Gods way is the best way.
A lot of us don’t have the authority of the key’s because we’re following the wrong agenda. We need to make sure we are on God’s kingdom program. Jesus tells us how to get on that program in ( Matthew 16:24 ) when He say, if anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. Living on a kingdom agenda means giving up the rights to your life. There’s only one reason to take up a cross, and that’s to die on it. Our problem in the church today is that we have to many Christians who are still in charge of their lives. But if you are running your own existence, you can’t have God’s victory and God’s authority. When you die, you relinquish all rights to yourself. We are to die each day in the sense of giving up our rights and our plans. As Paul put it, I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who lives, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and delivered Himself up for me ( Galatians 2:20 ).
There’s a good example of what it means to be on a Kingdom agenda in( Matthew 16 ). After Peter’s confession, Jesus told His disciples that He was going to the cross. Peter rebuked Jesus for saying this, but Jesus turned and said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan!” ( v.23 ). Jesus called Peter the devil because Peter was trying to stop Jesus from carrying out God’s agenda. Jesus let Peter know that he was operating on Satan’s agenda, not on God’s Kingdom agenda. Peter thought he was helping God by trying to stop Jesus from going to the cross. But in reality, to try to stop Jesus from going to the cross was to cooperate with the devil, since Satan’s goal was to keep Jesus from accomplishing what He came to do.
The keys of the kingdom are tied to a concept that Jesus called binding and looseing. What dose that mean? It has to do with allowing or forbidding, with access or lack of access. The church of Jesus Christ has been given the keys of the kingdom of God. It has been given access to heaven, so that whatever the church declares on earth, if it agrees with the kingdom of God, has already been determined in heaven. In other words, there is a backup for the things you do on earth that are in concert with the kingdom. If you are doing kingdom business, if you are a kingdom Christian living a kingdom life, then you can have kingdom victory. There’s a good example of what it means to be on a kingdom agenda in Matthew 16. After Peter’s confession, Jesus told His disciples that he was going to the cross. Peter rebuked Jesus for saying this, But Jesus turned and said to Peter, Get behind Me Satan! ( Matthew 23 ). But in reality, to try to turn Jesus away from the cross was to cooperate with the devil, since Satan’s goal was to keep Jesus from accomplishing what He came to do. Tune in next week to read more of God’s powerful word on the keys of authority.
