The well – Known biblical story of Jesus encounter with the demon- possessed man in ( Luke 8:26-39 ) tells us pretty much all we need to know about the nature of demons
( Jesus) was met by a certain man from the city who was possessed with demons, and who had not put on any clothing for a long time, and was not living in a house, but
in the tombs. And seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell before him, and said in a loud voice, What do I have to do with you, Jesus, son of the most high God? I beg you
don’t torment me” ( Luke 8: 27-28 ). This man was demon possessed, demonized, which is a better translation of the Greek term used here and throughout the
gospels. When Jesus showed up, This man went into torment. Why? Because Jesus and the demons can’t be in the same place at the same time and get along.
Somebody has to move when Jesus shows up. As we examine these fallen angelic angels, we learn some important things about the nature of demons.
